There are pools at most camps now.

Can anyone tell me which is the best bungalow BD2 location. Thank you.

Can anybody help.We will be staying in a BE hut(basic).Does it have a table with chairs?

I usually stay in the very basic ES2 huts, and they have a small table with 2 chairs, which we usually put outside in the shade for eating of meals.

Indeed they do, Tiko. Best value in Kruger, I think. JUST A WORD OF WARNING. They do not have wall plug sockets, so don't rely on them to charge anything.

We stayed two nights at Pretoriuskop - 29th & 30th November. Had never stayed there before, so don't know what it is normally like.

The vegetation was pretty thick. Our most special sighting was, thanks to another vehicle, an aardvark in broad daylight - on the Voortrekker Road, quite close to camp.

Apart from general game, we saw White Rhinos and Buffalo. I was hoping to see Sable and Black Rhino, but no luck.

Our second evening we went on the Sunset Drive which didn't produce any nocturnal animals. We watched an amazing African thunderstorm approach - incredible lightning. We ended up getting a bit wet (took rain jackets). The next day it rained in varying degrees almost all our way up to Satara.

I'm sure you will enjoy. The raptors and other migrant birds are great at this time of year.

I will be in the area on Sunday and Monday. I have stayed in Pretorius Kop during the rainy season in the past (January). It is when I have seen the most raptors, ever. It was also during this season that I had my best ever Lion sighting on the Voortrekker road.

Returned this evening from spending a night in a hut in PKop. Vegetation is thick, green and makes spotting animals a little more tricky. Left camp at 5am this morning and saw 2 prides of lion on the main tar road, as well as buff and elephant.

The huts are basic but comfortable. Watch out for baboons, they were into the dustbins at 4.30am this morning and the monkeys paid us a visit last night. The resident impalas have some lambs as well!!

Has anyone stayed at the Pierre Joubert guest house recently? We have a first time booking for this guest house later this year and would appreciate some current information on it.

Good evening to all i am writing from Italy, and I will in KNP at Petoriuskop camp in a bungalow and a Hut and sorry for my stupid questions ...but I have read a lot and I have not understood ...is there in the Bungalow and Hut this :

THE BED LINEN
TOWELS ( I have bathroom in the bungalow)
BLANKETS ( If it is necessary) ..both has airco.
PILLOW

and doas the elettrecity runs all theday and night in the petoriuskop camp?

Yes the accommodation does have all the bed linen including extra blankets
There are towels and even a Kruger Soap per person.
Yes the electricty runs 24 hours.. unless there is a general power failure.

Whats the story with the pretoriuskop BD2D bungalows. If i check the camp map, i dont see anything with that code. Would they be the BD2V bungalows 131-134?

Maybe someone has stayed in these and knows where they are.

Managed to get an ES2 hut for the long weekend (24, 25,26) and was wondering If anyone knows whether these units have braai facilities?

Ross I think all Kruger accommodation has braai facilities, even the huts.

The two go together Kruger=Braai!!!

We stayed in those huts a few years back and they did have them then

Hi, we are just back from 5 weeks Kruger and we were also in a FF6BD. You have to look at 113 and 114 and yes, the impala's are still allaround the camp!
