Hi Aart,
We were at Punda Maria, Mopani and Satara during Nov 2011.
I took pictures of a few Ellie's and would like to know if they are on record?

It is going fast now:

Just updated: Letaba I (big tusker of yesterday, with film-frames made in 1977 and 1979) The offiial info by Sanparks is overruled now by this material, not first recorded in 1979 but 1977 !

Hlamvu : No entries for 2 years but new recent pics of him just added to the Tusker Site (his tusks has been grown well !) Thanks RB

Mandzemba : New recent pics of this very promising tusker and new update for Mavatsani (classified as big tusker) thanks Flying Cheetah

More to come , some more submissions to be "processed"

  To all....

'cause the quality bugs me. Had these
digitized and yah, not happy.

Any suggestions???

H. erectus,
Solved... thanks for pictures and info... Kambaku's page has been updated
(great to get pics made in the early 70-ties to get a better picture of one of the Magnificent 7)

Hendrika,
Sorry for late reply on your pictures.
Is it possible for you to send the pictures in larger format to me?
I think I recognize some in my database but like to be sure by looking at more details...
I will send you my mail address by PM

Driving from Mopani to Letaba I found this named Tusker (NGODZI)

Great to see this tusker again and new for me : He was now close to Letaba, just several km’s from Letaba camp. All other sightings so far were near Mopani, mainly Mooiplaas waterhole.

Hi all Tuskermites...
Something different to show here. I received a report from Save the Elephants org... about the movements of all their collared elephants.
One of them is MAC , one of the real Big Tuskers in Kruger.
The picture below shows his track and trace report about the month december 2011

Thanks for this, Aat

It looks like Mac strolled around the Nshawus in December

Maybe there will still be a chance in meeting him again shortly
