Hi all,

Heading to Marakele next weekend from Pretoria.

I'm afraid we won't make it in time for the 6 o'clock gate closure... How strict are they? Think they'll refuse us if we pitch up around 6h45?

I was also wondering about the facilities at the camping site. Do they have decent braai facilities, or should we rather bring our own grill etc?

Enjoy, we were there end October last year. Great experience.

Each site have a brick buildt braai, but rather take your own grill (rooster).

Do go up the mountain to the viewpoint - it is a once in a life time experience.

Phone them about entry times. It should be OK as the camp is very close to the gate.
