When I renewed my Wildcard on 6/5/2011 I received a confirmation letter which gave my Wildcard Number as 420500490 but I have now received my Wildcard and the number is shown as 00031012.

I am unable to log onto my details page using this number but instead have to use the number as per confirmation letter.

I have sent a couple of e-mails to wild card personnel but have received no reply. I also tried phoning but gave up after having to wait for over half an hour on the automated response system.

I am going to Kruger in a couple of months and want to be sure that my wildcard will work.

As this problem seems to be quite common... If we get the Wild card + the confirmation letter in case of, think that we should be able entering in parks.

Don't worry about the different numbers.....that's the way it is for all of us. those who have received the new Wild Card all have different numbers from before

Thank you for your answer. But how do you do for logging on to www.wildcard.co.za and complete or modify your personal details? I tried to log in and of course there is no match between my passport ID, my name and my card number!
Can’t we get any problems at park’s gates?

If you have a Wild Card sent to you then the scheme has your details.

The only thing you would need to change would be your address for the magazine to be sent to you. If that is the case, please let me know and I will endeavour to get someone to help.

I am trying to get answers to everyone's questions and queries but I am having limited success, to say the least.

Thank you Saraf. As I received the card at the right address, then the magazine should be sent at the same address?
Must I enter again my data manually for them to process my data?
I sent an Email to wildcard@sanparks.org, hope that I’ll get an answer from them!
Must say that it was easier before…
