Wow Bushchild that is amazing - what time of year was that? The light quality is striking and the bush looks golden!

Hi Graham_5000 i think it would have been September probably my favourite time to visit the park. Early
morning shots always have that beautiful golden glow. Thanks for the comments :D

Hi

Yes it is confirmed!
I have seen the proof, but I have been told not to share it yet.
But I will as soon as I can.

The sightings around Satara have been as good as ever! Especially so for the cheetah. 8) The coalition of 4 males (still need a name) have been seen 6km South of Satara from the main road 8)
The two sweni bros have been seen consistently just South of the Sweni river on the main road, The Gudzani family have been seen at times on the Gudzani road South of Gudzani dam and on the Old main road at other times
8) 8) 8)

Otherwise lions in all directions :D Most famously the Lions that killed the buffalo to the West of the waterhole

Well they hid themselves nicely this last weekend :wall: :?

We only saw Lions about halfway between Tshokwane and Satara and they were too deep in the bush for a decent sighting.

Now.....

what made my trip was two AWC's inside Satara, playing in the road behind our chalet. Then later that night while we were sitting at the fence watching the watehole, one snuck up behind us and had a drink from the pond in front of the takeaway section. AWESOME

Went out with Edward. Saw the usual daytime suspects but also two lionesses busy hunting, barn owl, white tailed mongoose, porcupine, some elephants and a awc in the camp when we got back.
