During our week we saw 2 puffadders, 2 mole snakes, 1 cape cobra and a secretary bird with a horned adder. Bird list - 77 species (including the White Stork).

Hi there SIM,

We do not see the Slender Mongoose on frequent basis, I can count on one hand the number I have seen in the park.

Reading your post it seems you have had a great time regarding the sightings.

Thanks KG. We saw it very briefly but we do have a bad photo of it. It was an amazing orange colour and we identified it as Galerella flavescens.
Anne-marie - will try post some.

Hi all!

I managed to capture a picture of the African Spoonbill I saw on the sunset drive on Wednesday - thankfully it was still hanging around on Thursday morning!

I've also posted a whole bundle of pictures of things I've seen over in my trip report, as well as another bundle of pictures from my Nossob 4x4 trails. You can see them here:

Hi Sim, i was wondering if you wouldn't mind posting your leopard in the leopard identification thread, and if you have time downloading and returning a sighting form from my website (link below in my signature).

Would be really good to try and identify this leopard  as i don't have many sightings from the dune fields.
Thanks

Sure Astromatt! Will do that (if I can work out how to post photos - technically challenged). If you email me (simone@multiweigh.co.za) I will mail you the photo and get some more from others.

WOW!!! Not only great sightings but great record keeping. Well done Moose
If you get any time amongst all this game driving could you possibly send me a full report of the leopard sightings for my records, pics would be great for identifications
