Anyone seen the two cheetah that are often seen on the corner of the S39 & H7? I'm curious if the one that had an injured leg healed or not.

The leg has been injured for years now and the other brother hunts and the two feed. It works for them.

Kind of surprising that a lion, hyena, or leopard hasn't killed him yet.

Sunday

12 lion cubs on the H1-3. 2km South of s86 turn off.

Lion on H7 just West of Nsemani

It seems the three lion hot-spots around Satara over the past couple of weeks is
-the s100 near the H1-3 turn off
- Nsemani dam on the H7
- Maziti dam on the H1-3.

just an observation from looking at the reports

Hi

On the 24th of Oct we saw over 10 lion cubs on the S 100, about 500m from the S41/S 100 T point. Some of the other vehicles claimed to have seen 15 cubs. They were seen from 0545 hours till 0945 when they went deeper into the bush on both sides of the road. What was surprising was the absence of any adult lions. The cubs were wandering around without any supervision and some went off on one side of the S 100 while others were on the other side. Would anyone have any idea what happened to the cubs and the rest of the pride?? A few pics of the cubs are given below

Hi all,

Although I am very familiar with the Sanparks site (browze it almost daily for the last year or two) I have only recently joined as a forum member.

This is officially my first post to the forum.

I cannot help but continually check and see what is happening around my favourite camp.
Iwill be in Satara in just under 4 weeks time for 4 nights and then again 2 weeks later for 7 nights.

Would it be possible to also add me onto the Satara Sightings bbm group.

My bbm pin number is: 220CF7FA

Saw the super pride on S100 this morning. They were resting by the time we got to them. Saw 4 Cheetah at Gudzani East waterhole early this morn. See leopard in area too. Judging by the chat in camp folk are having fantastic sightings in this area.

Will go and have a firm talking with them tomorrow C2111. They are real showmen and were very entertaining this morning. Best cheetah sighting we have ever had.
