I always check the "view active topics" and then go to GGGG and say hello....
RSS doesn't work for me anymore so I keep a tab open on View active and play it by ear....

PMs don't scare me anymore

First thing I do is saying Good morning in the GGGG-thread. Most of the time I'm reading TRs, watching cams and sure post highlights. I read lots of topics like Recommended Reading, Quizzis (sometimes I take part), Birds, HR and so on. I don't comment everywhere, but love to read and learn.

I hit the 2 Kruger forums first, then Indaba and TT. Throughout the day I'll "mark all posts read" and then simply do a refresh to see what other folks are talking about in the wee hours of the SA night.

PM's are usually positive, though few and far between.

Like Lockie I have also broadened by horizons since being on the FAC and I am enjoying browsing up and down the forum. I usually only comment on chit chat unless I have something useful to add elsewhere.

Read PMs first, though I seldom get that many If they are nice ones I write back but if nasty and I have had a few of those I choose to ignore them and if really nasty i PM a mod. then its chitchat have to be polite and say hello to everyone and then I view active topics from start to finish . I then check my e-mails and answer the business stuff while at the same time keep an eye on the forum .. I also pop in regularly to look at the web cams. I dont miss a thing . Some are soooo interesting but others not so. I dont have a camera so that thread does not interest me ..maybe one day it will .
In between time I make breakfast for the mites and keep the rooibostea and provitas flowing and yes KathySa the Fac was something else..I miss my tree. heard they cut it dowwn and made matches out of it.

I go first wherever my snail, going backwards uphill, connection takes me....... Normally PM's - if I can open them.

But Jazil one day we all woke up and its was gone... so it mustve been made into matches.. Maybe they will resurect it for next years FAC bunch !!!

Hugh, me thinks that next years bunch will find your tree, or rather maybe a sapling of your tree there..... and they too will be able to sit under it......

Normally start off clicking on the View new posts, then work my way down all the threads visiting the ones I'm interested in most, then have a look at the new threads and always keep an eye out for spammers. Actually it's a while since I've seen them around!

PM's really don't bother me any longer and find them a sign that there is more to the forum than what in written in the threads.

I actually have my laptop next to my two working pc's and use F5, refresh, often and enjoy seeing who the daily participants are.

I am pretty boring
Trip reports, GGGG, Kruger thread.
Then onto Indaba and Chill Room but only to read and not comment
I check the camera and photography and quizzes as well, but only as a spectator
I get a few PM's, but haven't had one for a loooong time for being
Also get to report a few spammers
