Thank you all for a fabulous meet It was wonderful to meet so many new mites and see some old faces again

To all those involved with the organising and catering a BIG THANK YOU

A special thanks to Aunty Dot's for allowing me to steal Sharifa's last yummy samoosa

If anyone has any objection to me posting any of the pic's I took today please PM and I'll refrain from posting them tomorrow

Not sure Aunty Dot had a say in the matter she was sooooo looking forward to her samoosa especially saved for later shame on you Shi, Sharifa see what you caused.... "thieves" in our ranks in the form of click click and Shi. But so worth "stealing" they were really great thank you.

Agree with all previous comments was a great meet with lots of laughs have pics to prove it (to follow) and just remember Shi we too have incriminating evidence and should you havde any objection to me posting them you may not PM me, but maybe I will accept a bribe...........

this a wonderful meet. It was lovely to see the old faces again and meet some new ones as well.

I agree with all of the above comments... It was a lovely meet! Great to see all the old familliar faces and lovely to meet some new ones.

the venue was just perfect and the friendliness of the staff could not be faulted.

The shady trees were pefect.
The food was perfect
even my buffalo steak

the atmosphere of fun, openess and friendship.. just awesome as Click-Click said, the sun started setting far too quickly.

To mites old and new.. you rock..


my laughter muscles received a great work out.

As for me

I also won the jackpot.

The Bee-eater picture from the auction, surpassed my wildest expectations. I was speechless at the beauty. Well not quite speechless, I think I squeeled.

What an awesome group of people! What a great day! What a stunning meet! It honestly felt like a family gathering. Thank you everybody for making this a wonderful day!

Rietvlei Rocks! The staff were always everywhere for assistance if needed, the food was fantastic, service like you've never seen before! Thank you to Marie and staff!

Sharifa, thanks a million for those wonderful samoosas! I have never tasted such lovely samoosas before! Mellory, your "secret salad" was fantastic! Thank you!

Thank you to Randalph for the snacks, Wendy for your lovely noodle salad, all the other people who brought the cakes, cup cakes, milk tarts, etc. for dessert, and Waterbuck for lighting the fires!

Click click, thank you for letting us all talk to Martie in another continent "face to face". It was unreal, but wonderful.

Come on Shi! I know you actually wanted those Rhinos, but it is mine/ours!

It was wonderful to meet all the mites, each and everyone is very special, and it felt as if we have known them for ages, although we've only met them for the first time.

Cheetahkie, you were the heart and soul of the gathering, as usual.

Last but not least, thank you to my SO for all you have done to make this a very successful day!

If I have to mention all the names, I will sit here the whole day. Please know that I love you all, and you are very dear to me. Barry is going to post pictures later on, and I am looking forward to all the other mites' pictures taken yesterday!

What a great meet. Barry, Hilda, you guys rock. All the other mites there, it was just so pleasant, fun and great.

After yesterday, I can truly say that this forum and its peeps are great.

But there were jokes made about elephants and mice and cats in the Scipio-Dan-Tsukudu circle which cannot be repeated

So glad that you all had a wonderful time................though a little envious if I'm honest!!!

Some of my fav peeps there, and I couldn't get to see them.

Oh well there will just have to be another one end Oct/beg Nov to coincide with our return!!
