As reported last year, the Garden Route National Park was gazetted on 21 November 2008 and it is envisaged that the new Park will be proclaimed at the end of March 2009.

SANParks Garden Route is hosting public information sessions for those members of the public who would like more information about the new Park and interested parties are invited to attend:
